EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
The Archbishop James University College (AJUCO) is a private higher learning Institution
(Constituent College of St. Augustine University of Tanzania (SAUT)), owned by Tanzania Episcopal Conference (TEC) with a vision of holistic development of a person and respect of human dignity.

1.1 Entry qualification for Lecturer in Economics post
Holder of relevant of Bachelor degree or Equivalent from reputable higher academic
Institution registered/recognized by TCU with GPA not less than 3.8 o Master degree with GPA not less than 4.0 o PhD holder.

1.2 Entry qualification for Lecturer in Educational Foundations post
Holder of relevant of Bachelor degree or Equivalent from reputable higher academic Institution registered/recognized by TCI-J with GPA not less than 3.8 o Master degree in Education with GPA not less than
0 PhD holder.

1.3 Entry qualification for Lecturer in Law post
Holder of relevant of Bachelor degree or Equivalent from reputable higher academic
Institution registered/recognized by TCU with GPA not less than 3.8

Master degree with GPA not less than 4.0
PhD holder.

1.4 Entry qualification for Lecturer in Language and Linguistics post.
Holder of relevant of Bachelor degree or Equivalent from reputable higher academic
Institution registered/recognized by TCI-J with GPA not less than 3.8
Master degree specialized in literature and linguistics, with GPA not less than 4.0
PhD holder.

1.5 Entry qualification for Lecturer in History post.
Holder of relevant of Bachelor degree or Equivalent from reputable higher academic
Institution registered/recognized by TCI-J with GPA not less than 3.8
Master degree of Arts in History, with GPA not less than 4.0
PhD holder.

I .6 Entry qualification for Lecturer in Development Studies post.
Holder of relevant of Bachelor degree or Equivalent from reputable higher academic
Institution registered/recognized by TCU with GPA not less than 3.8
Master degree with GPA not less than 4.0
PhD holder.
1.7 Entry qualification for ICT post.
Holder of relevant of Bachelor degree or Equivalent from reputable higher academic Institution registered/recognized by TCU.

1 .8 Entry qualification For Bursar’s post.
Holder of relevant degree(s) from reputable higher academic Institution registered/recognized by TCU.
Holder of CPA (T)/ACCA/ACA
Five years experience in similar position PIUS ICT skills and must have been registered with NBAA as Authorized/Certified Accountant.

1 .9 Entry qualification for Internal Auditor’s post.
Holder of relevant degree (s) from reputable higher academic Institution registered/ recognized by TCU.
Holder of CPA (T)/ACCA/ACA
Five years experience in similar position plus ICT skills and must have been registered with NBAA as Authorized/Certified Auditor.

2.0 General entry qualifications for posts above except (‘CT, Bursar & Internal Auditor)
Holder of relevant of Bachelor degree or Equivalent from reputable higher academic Institution registered/recognized by TCU. ( First class, or Upper second class, with GPA 3.8 or a B+ in relevant subjects for unclassified degree and
Master degree at 4.0 GPA
At least two years experience in academics

3.0 General attributes
English Language proficiency
Capacity to communicate information, knowledge and skills to others
Capacity to prepare and deliver own teaching materials
Problems solving and innovation skills
Capacity to recognize those having difficulties, intervene, and provide help and support
Capacity to prepare quality research proposals
Motivation for Innovation, further Learning and Continuing professional development

4.0 Terms of Employment
Successful candidates will be employed on Contract terms of three (3) years (renewable) however the confirmation shall be made after satisfactory completion of first year.

5.0 Remuneration
Attractive remuneration package will be offered to successful candidates
