The Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation is a global leader in the fight against pediatric HIV and AIDS, working in 19 countries and supporting close to 6,000 sites around the world to prevent the transmission of HIV to children, and to facilitate access to services for those already infected. Today, because of the highly successful work of the Foundation and its partners, pediatric AIDS has been virtually eliminated in the United States. Under USAID BORESHA AFYA PROJECT (NORTH AND CENTRAL), EGPAF Tanzania is currently implementing comprehensive Health Service Delivery Award by USAID which focuses on Comprehensive health services delivery for preventive and curative services for FP, HIV/AIDS and TB. Under this project, we are looking for passionate members to join our team in the capacity of Technical officer for TB services.
In addition, EGPAF Tanzania has been awarded funds to implement a four year project aiming at Catalyzing Pediatric TB Innovations (Unitaid Cap-TB project) to reduce morbidity and mortality associated with Childhood TB in three (3) regions (Kilimanjaro, Arusha and Tabora). Position Details
Job title: Technical Officer TB services
Reporting to: Senior Advisor TB services
Location: Tabora (1) Dodoma (1).
Roles Summary
The Technical officer TB service is a highly committed, self-motivated and result oriented individual. S/he will support council’s project coordinators and respective CHMTs to translate, coordinate and supervise implementation of EGPAF’s USAID Boresha Afya TB and TB/HIV technical area, towards effective and sustainable implementation. S/he will provide regional level technical assistance, mentorship and supervision of the EGPAF supported TB and TB collaborative activities, including designing and supporting implementation of innovative approaches to ensure high quality and integrated TB and TB/HIV collaborative activities across the supported councils, and facilities. S/he will assure an effective collaboration with various technical officers, regional project managers and Councils project coordinators, while providing guidance and technical assistance to RTLCs and DTLCs in line with the government of Tanzania (NTLP) guidelines. The Technical officer TB services will lead and advise the project office team including project managers and project coordinators on documentation and sharing of best practices in TB and TB/HIV collaborative activities in their respective regions

Job Summary
The Project Coordinator Paediatric TB services, is a highly committed, self-motivated and result oriented individual. S/he will work at the ministry of health, (NTLP) to support, supervise and coordinate implementation of all activities related to Childhood TB in the country. S/he will be supervised by the TBHIV coordinator who serves as a National Paediatric TB focal person and receive TA from Senior Technical advisor TB services at EGPAF. S/he will be responsible to ensure that childhood TB services are effectively provided, coordinated, monitored and reported to MOH and donors. S/he will work closely with TB implementing partners, RHMTs and CHMTs to push the childhood TB agenda forward using new innovations in diagnosis and treatment of childhood TB. S/he will ensure childhood Tb services are provided at highest quality according to WHO and national guidelines by creating enabling environment to the regions and through provision of Technical assistance to implementation teams

Job Summary
The cap-TB project coordinator is responsible for providing the day-to-day coordination to effectively implement the CaP TB project in Tanzania. He/she will work under leadership and direct supervision of Senior Advisor TB services, EGPAF Tanzania. He/she will also work closely with project coordinator Paediatric TB at the National TB and Leprosy program, as well as other national TB implementing partners.
S/he will provide country level technical assistance, mentorship and supervision of the cap-TB project supported activities, including designing and supporting implementation of innovative approaches to ensure high quality services across the supported regions. Roles Summary:
The HIS Officer will work as a key member of EGPAF’s Technical team, under the day to day management of the Senior HIS manager and the dotted technical leadership of the Associate Manager SIE of the country office. The HIS Officer will work in close collaboration with other staff members to ensure that all Cap-TB project data well recorded in the system, design and review of different TB record and reporting tool, generate and analyze data and reports and presenting data to end user and monitor and evaluate Cap-TB project activities are performed in EGPAF Tanzania’s cap-TB regions with required standards.
