VACANCIES
The Eastern and Southern African Management Institute [ESAMI] seeks the services of suitably qualified persons to fill the posts at its Headquarters in Arusha, Tanzania.
  1. CONSULTANT, FINANCE
Qualifications
A Minimum of a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a relevant field with not less than ten (10) years' experience in Corporate Financial management. Possession of professional qualification such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent qualification. Ten (10) years' experience in teaching/Management training in University/Management training Institution or with good managerial experience.

Competencies and Skills
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, coordinate, and consult on a full spectrum of Financial management programs
• Demonstrated ability to design develop and implement programmes through management education / training;
• Demonstrated teamwork skills;
• Proven track record in developing and implementing programmes in IFMS, Financial modelling, Financial management for Mining, oil and gas projects, Financial management software;
• Ability to maintain professional standards and keep abreast of evolving trends in management education through continuing professional educational management programmes;
• Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple projects simultaneously;
• An understanding of public sector financial management and reforms

  1. CONSULTANT, HUMAN RESOURCE
Qualifications:
 A minimum of a Master's degree in Business Administration, Human Resource or a relevant field with not less than ten (10) years' experience in Human Resource management. Possession of professional qualifications or Certification in Human Resource or equivalent qualification. Membership to a relevant professional body will be an added advantage Ten (10) years' experience in teaching/management training in' a University/management training institution, or with good practical managerial experience.

Competences and Skills
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, coordinate, and consult on a full spectrum of Human Resource programs;
• Proven track record in developing and implementing programmes in e - Human Resource Management, HR Analytics, HRMIS, work and understand HR Softwares;
• Ability to maintain professional standards and keep abreast of evolving trends in management education through continuing professional educational management programmes;
• Strong organizational, prioritization, time management and attention to detail skills;
  1. MANAGER, FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION

Qualifications required
A minimum of a Master's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or a relevant field with not less than ten (10) years' experience in Corporate Financial management. Possession of professional qualifications such as CPA, ACA, ACCA, ACMA or equivalent qualification.

Competences and Skills
• Demonstrated knowledge of financial terminology, standards, principles and practices, as relevant to the successful delivery of the individual role
• Has an awareness and understanding of the relevant laws and regulations applicable to financial practice in regional context.
• General knowledge of accounting theory, techniques, processes and procedures including accrual, obligation, and cost control.
• Understands budget practices and concepts, and their applications in various settings
• Has a working knowledge of cash-flow management and debt administration
• Knowledge of HR, IT and e-Procurement
  1. MARKETING OFFICER
Qualifications
A minimum of a Master's in Business Administration or equivalent with a specialization in Marketing. Membership to a relevant professional body will be an added advantage. A minimum of five (5) years' experience in a regional or international organization or Institution marketing or dealing with capacity building programmes.

Competences and skills
• Demonstrated ability for Proposal and report writing skills;
• Demonstrated working knowledge of marketing operations in Africa;
• Interpersonal and communication skills;
• Demonstrated ability to follow-up, communicate effectively and work with all levels within the Institute;
• Ability to work with on-line applications and communication
