QUALIFICATIONS

-          Master degree in BUSINESS Administrations

-          5 -8 years experience  in administrative and financial management of international projects

-          Excellent in financial  management and system development skills

-          Experience with quick book accounting software

-          Must be a Tanzanian

The company is now looking for the qualified Tanzania candidate to fill the following positions

UNDERWRITER CLAIMS

This positions call for young competent, attentive, to details and qualified persons of high integrity. The jobholder is responsible for claims management.  The underwriter claims will report to chief underwriter and training officer through the senior underwriter

EXPERIENCE

·         Should pass a bachelor degree or equivalent or advanced diploma in insurance and risk management from recognized institutions plus a ACI or its posses ACII or its equivalent with 7 years relevant experience in an insurance reinsurance company

RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Dealing promptly with correspondence for markets serviced

·         Processing treaty and facultative insurance claims including preparations of the claims credits/debits notes

·         Recording verifying claims and bordereaux and following up of outstanding claims bordereaux

·         Monitoring and advising underwriter on the claims experience claims of different accounts on a quarterly basis

·         Producing register of report and settled claims on a week basis

·         To perform any other duties assigned by the senior

1. FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ACCOUNTANT

As the increasing there need for additional resources and to the strengthen and streamline imprest system. Therefore LIC, seeks to engage the FINANCIAL MANAGER

SPECIFIC TASKS

-          Financial planning analysis and report as required

-          Review cost data analyze budget vs actual cost and preparations forecast

-          Responsible for budget planning audit reviews and assessment upon the request

-          Financial management of SIFF funds and projects

-          Establish and maintain close cooperative with LIC auditors

-          Participate in pre- award assessment of concept notes for LIC supported projects

-          Any other appropriate tasks assigned by the team

QUALIFICATIONS

-          University degree in accountant, business administration’s finance or other relevant

-          5 years experience in administrations and financial management

-          Experience with fund management and or the imprest system

-          Excellent organizations analytical

-          Oral and written communications skills

-          Written proficiency in English and Kiswahil

2. POLICY EXPERT

TASKS

-          Examine the impacts of existing legislations taxations and regimes ad policies as well as the mandate of LAGS in private sector development and determine the potential impacts on investments

-          Identify and support the keys policies affecting the development of market for strategies values chains in Dodoma and Kigoma

-          Outlines roles and responsibilities of the public the private sector in policy reforms and share this with boss sectors

-          Document lesson learned from existing studies that would determine areas of policy reforms be it in policy formulations policy decision policy executions and make the recommended accordingly

-          Any other appropriate by the assigned team leader

QUALIFICATIONS

-          Higher education’s in policy an MBA OR LAWS anin enterprises development

-          10 years experience in private sectors development either as policymaker or advisory

-          Have knowledge of how policy reform influence

-          Must be familiar in Tanzania

-          Have strong communications and interpersonal skills

-          Fluent in English and Kiswahili

Job purpose:
Plan, direct and coordinate the operations of the UDART fare collection and system support project. Project Operations Manager is responsible for ensuring and improving the performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability of departmental and organizational operations through the provision of effective methods and strategies.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ensures the terminals and stations are opened and closed on a timely basis.
Ensure that all the resources needed for the daily operations are supplied on time.
Ensure all staff is adhering to company policies, procedures & protocols.
Ensures excellent customer service skills are practiced by all the project staff members.
Performs pre-audits to ensure ongoing adherence with compliance procedures.
Prepares supervisors performance appraisals and disciplinary notices as required.
Frequently visit all the terminals and stations to find out the working environmental challenge that faces staff.
Review field inspection reports from time to time throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Facilitates regular meetings with supervisors and cashiers to disseminate operational information.
Prepare collectively monetary and non monetary reports of the project for management reviews and decision making.
Solve customer complains.
Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others
Keep the Management team and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations
Ensures that quality and standards of the project is met.
