Training Manager 

INTRODUCTION:
The association of Tanzania Employee ( ATE) formerly known as the federation of Tanganyika employers (FTE). is the most representative employers organization in Tanzania.  It was formed in 1960 to represent few private employers ATE is the registered and recognized under the employment and labor relations Acts (N0. 60F 2004) as an employer’s trade union in Tanzania.  It now represents employers in all sectors of the national economy excluding the civil services.  ATE he government and the trade union form the tripartite forum which addressed to all industrial relations and labor related issue at sector and national levels
ATE is an active member of national, regional, continental an international organization like Tanzania Private Sector foundations(TPSF) East Africa Business Council (EABC) SADC Employers Group (SEG), Business Africa (BA) Formerly THE Pan Africa Employers’ Confederations (PEC) And internationally Organization of employers(IOE)
The Association has nearly 1,400 registered member and 6000 indirect members from all sectors of the national economy of which 70% are based Dar Es Salaam and the remaining are scattered in regions of Tanzania mainland .  it also a zonal office Arusha and Mwanza

1.     TRAINNING MANAGER
Reporting to the Executive director of the association you will all manage internal and external education for our associations and member employers.  We will rely on you to conduct needs analysis develop curriculums and training materials coordinate various seminar training represent the association in various training and forums local and international, supervise ,outside training/vendors and implement feedback tools
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·        provide leadership and ensure efficiency and effective management of staff and resources in the training and seminars department
·        provide leadership and works closely with other departments in the training and seminars in areas of interest to member and non- member
·        provide continuous leadership outside training and the development staff
MEMBERSHIP SERVICES
Conducts training needs assessment in member organization
Plan coordinate and conduct general ad specialized corporate and public seminars and training education development programs
Oversees the designing or delivers management training and workshop
Ensure that all training administration processes including budgeting and financial control of training programmers are aids and other educational materials
Test measure evaluates effort and effectiveness of training presentation ad program to ensure benefit of training achieve value for money

INTERNAL

  • coordinate identifying departmental and individual training need in the associate
  • developing advertisement and assists in the preparations of training and seminar brochures
  • prepare and control department budget

ABILITY

  • Knowledge of the selling process and marketing of the training programs
  • Knowledge of learning theory and motivation research
  • Knowledge of professional training best practice
  • Knowledge of basic human resource theory and principle
  • Knowledge of adult education theory and practice
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to communicate to groups in a classroom and non- classroom sitting
  • Ability to plan organize implement and evaluate instructions
  • Must be capable of working within deadlines and have very good skills in preparing reports


SUPERVISION GIVEN AND RECEIVED
perform under general supervision of the executive director determines own method of performing assigned duties where definite objectives have been set. 
QUALIFICATIONS
Candidate we seek will be enthusiastic and self motivated preferably with a master degree in education business or related field . 5 yrs experience providing adult education programs in corporate and public setting. Knowledge of adult education methodology and skills in project management.
