Job Description
Job title: Tax Manager
Location: Dar es Salaam
Reporting to: Chief Finance Officer
Client: Telecom Company

Responsibilities & duties
 Coordinate and lead all activities pertaining to tax management in consultation with Chief Finance Officer
 Represent the Company, when required, before tax authorities.
 Advise the Company in tax issues
 Assess level of compliance and effectiveness of procedures and systems of tax processes and suggest improvement thereof
 Manage timely preparation and accurate filing of all taxes
 Manage accurate and timely payment of taxes
 Take part in tax audits
 Take leadership in resolving tax issues
 Review contracts to ensure that they are compliant with are compliant with applicable tax laws
 Incorporate changes to tax regimes into the Company’s business and accounting processes
 Take leadership in tax accounting and reporting
 Review and reconcile corporate tax and deferred tax to ensure accurate tax and deferred tax expenses in the financials
 Monitor and highlight tax exposures and develop strategies to pre-empt and manage them
 Assist all functions in the Company with necessary and relevant tax inputs
 Review contracts , business and project plans and advise on opportunities to minimize tax exposure
 Ensure that appropriate internal and tax management controls, policies and procedures are in place and are implemented to record and account for taxes
 Ensure that tax accounting and tax compliance activities are properly managed
 Ensure that the risk of penalties and interests as a result of non-compliance is kept to the possible minimum
 Take leadership on business planning, tax planning, tax analysis, capitalizing on business opportunities by developing and implementing strategies as well as assisting with business development opportunities for the company
 Perform other activities as directed by senior management from time to time
Academic qualifications
 Bachelor Degree in Finance, Tax Management or any relevant discipline

Job Description
Job title: Country Manager
Location: Dar es Salaam
Reporting to: Group Managing Director
Client: Manufacturing and Construction Industries
Responsibilities & duties
 Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current customers and prospective customers in the assigned territory/market segment to generate new business for the organization’s products/services. Preparation and delivery of quotations to customers.
 Effective daily staff management and forward planning of the installation and sales teams, including resource and transport planning.
 Review financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement and to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement. Analyzes the territory/market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers’ value to the organization as well as plan future expansions.
 Daily management and planning of local manufacturing centre, including stock management systems, technical training and oversight, quality control and site inspections.
 Checking, confirmation and ordering of goods through the required systems for confirmed quotations. End to end shipping and clearance process of procured goods, including procurement and cost comparisons, interactions with customs and local authorities.
 Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints in conjunction with installations teams and the country manager. Regular site inspections of ongoing projects. Quality control and workplace safety inspections.
 Identifies advantages and compares organization’s products to competitor products on the market. Identifies potential new segments and products to add to the company portfolio. Keeps abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas.
 Participates in trade shows and conventions.
 Oversee the administration of CRM software to ensure that all lead and customers’ details are kept up to date at all times.
 Monitoring and evaluation of the yearly marketing budgets, their spend and effectiveness.
 Determine staffing requirements, and interview, hire and train new employees, or oversee those personnel processes.
Academic qualifications
 Bachelor Degree relevant discipline
