Reporting to the General Manager
To lead a team of professionals to execute the sales and marketing activities of First Assurance and ensure that sales targets and quality of sales are achieved
Contract and document individual Performance Development plans with sales agents on a quarterly basis to assist with performance management.
Contract and document individual sales targets with sales agents on a monthly basis to ensure that targets re known and achieved
Assist with talent sourcing and selection through active participation in the recruitment of sales agents
Identify capacity gaps based on outbound leads volumes as well as inbounds to ensure that clients can be contracted timeously
Provide customer centric solutions by giving guidance to the team through strategic initiatives
Develop a high performance team by enabling formal development plan and regular informal coaching
Undergraduate degree in Marketing or sales, Business Administration or a related field
Professional certification in Marketing and sales or a related discipline
Proven experience of meeting and exceeding sales target
Experience of developing profitable distribution channels for Insurance Products and services.
Strong team player with excellent entrepreneurship interpersonal and networking skills
At least 5 years in a similar position
Experience with call centre sales management will be an added advantage

Reporting to the General Manager,The overall responsi-bility will be to provide Leadership to the Department
Team and ensure customer satisfaction.
Key duties will indude:-
Ensure adequate reserving and regular review
Ensure prompt settlement of claims
Ensure efficient claims processing and turn around
Ensure prompt preparation of Management and
Statutory Reports

Reporting to the General Manager
Key duties will indude:-
Expected to work with a senior manager/s or director to provided secretarial and administrative support.
Act as a first point of contact for the manager/s during their absence
Maintain a high degree of confidentiality at all times and to interact with shareholders at various levels in order to deliver on the work outputs
Manage the diary of the manager, in an efficient manner by using outlook, to set up meetings requested by the line manager or to accept meetings requested by others where the managers presence is needed
Track and monitor the acceptances and declines obtained from the relevant parties that have been invited to the meeting. Where possible resolve issues independently but where needed escalate any concerns and issues to the manager
Liase with relevant parties to re-schedule any meet-ings, based on a request from either the manager or the original meeting organiser
Print all documentation relevant to the meetings and prepare daily meeting packs and give them to the manager for their reference
Liase with the in-house travel agency to make the travel bookings for any domestic and international trips the manager is required to make and in so doing ensure adherence to the required travel approval process
When requested to by the manager, attend in team meetings in order to take the minutes of the meet¬ings. Ensure that the minutes are typed, approved by the meeting chair and distributed to the relevant parties within the agreed time period
Qualifications and Experience
5 years’ experience in administrative position, prefer-ably with secretarial duties on a one on one basis
Experienced in the use of a variety of technological
office equipment . ~

Candidate must have a Degree in the relevant field in business or Law and ACII qualifications.
Seven (7) Years working experience in General Insurance, Three (3) of which should be in Claims Department as a Claims Manager.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer (COO)
Key duties will indude:-
Monitor and ensure that the New Business and Customer Service Departments enhance optimal service delivery of application processing and claims assessments by providing improvements in the new business area, policy service and claims area by reviewing processes and workflows
Identify and initiate process changes to enhance, improve or correct faulty or ineffective systems and processes by reviewing processes using reports illustrating turn-around times, reduction in fraud and client satisfaction
Ensure customers are served in accordance with First Assurance Company Tanzania SLA's by conducting weekly quality checking, provide coaching and feedback to staff on outcomes there off to limit service failures and enhance customer experience.
Ensure thorough understanding of the new business, policy holder services, customer services and claims services departments by evaluating each process and ensuring that productivity is aligned to the Departments output Strategy. Plan, design, test and implement new system changes through regular interactions with the IT Department in order to increase quality and productivity.
Benchmark operational efficiencies against industry standards in order to exceed customers experience and reduce fraud and create new processes in order to achieve excellence
Ensure effective implementation of the First Assur-ance Company Tanzania Workflow System for the benefit of customers by reporting on any system problems, errors or downtime to the Chief Operating Officer
Take ownership of customer queries and complaints by ensuring that staff resolve them timely and within set deadlines giving attention to quality resolutions.
Act as the escalation point for all the unresolved queries and complaints
Qualifications and Experience
Full GCE certificate or equivalent with minimum five credits including mathematics and English
Bachelors Degree in a Business or IT related field. Insurance Qualification is an added advantage
Certificate in Project Management
5 years experience in the insurance or financial services industry with proven track record of new

Reporting to the General Manager
A member of a Business Banking Team developing and maintaining relationships with portfolio of business banking customers and connected Personal customers.
To independently manage a portfolio of insurance business by retaining and growing the business and accepting and underwriting new business with a focus on profitable management thereof.
Source, secure and maintain business links in the insurance market, both within the Barclays group and externally.
Responsible for sales/new business development and overall client service in a dynamic and highly competitive market place.
Provide visitation, underwriting and technical support services to new and existing customers and grow own customer portfolio by attracting new clients through unique product solutions and individual underwriting processes
Responsible for delivering a solution based approach to the client and achieves set targets in respect of new business and return on capital employed.
Provide client education and training on Insurance products and services in cases where this will add value to the customer's business resources
Qualifications and Experience
Bcom - degree in (Business studies, Commerce)
Certificate of Proficiency
(8 -10) years (Technical/Managerial) experience
3-5 years experience with General and Life and personal lines insurance portfolios
Exposure to the insurance underwriting environ¬ment
Bank Assurance experience
Experience in dealing with brokers and Corporate clients
