Key Responsibilities:
• Coordination and monitoring of clearing forwarding agent .
• Ensure the timely delivery of vehicles to bonded warehouses including freight and logistics management and importation.
• Analyze, monitor in-bond and ex-bond movement of vehicles /spares/Machines.
• Manage inventory levels in all warehouses and maximize inventory efficiency.
• Conduct periodic field visits to warehouses to audit inventory and ensure optimal procedures are in place
• Continually review and optimize all logistics processes.
• Create logistic procedure manuals to aid in the training and induction of staff members
• Conduct regular stock take in Coordination with PDI team.
• Coordination with insurance co for transit claims.
• Arranging transportation of vehicles .
Desired Profile:
• Must have good experience with TRA system and process.
• Understanding of TANCIS system
• Experience of clearing vehicles/spares
• Previous experience of handling bond operation will be highly preferred .
• Previous work experience with TRA will be preferred .
Educational Qualifications:
Essential graduate.
Diploma in port /custom clearance .
Relevant years of Experience: Between 4-6 yrs of experience (overall)
Competencies: Relationship management, Monitoring & Controlling.

1. Key responsibilities:
a. This position manages Quality Assurance for both internal and external customers. 
The position co-ordinates and reviews all the other relevant functions on QUALITY 
b. Manage generation of non-conforming products-Ensure the reduction of generation of 
defective material by implementing inspection and testing programmes, upgrading of 
SOPs and Quality plans. Guide quality team to use scientific methods to analyse defects in
 the product to go to root cause analyses and implement corrective and preventive action
 by appropriately changing the SOPS , Quality plans and process parameters
c. Management of Integrity for testing and classification of raw materials and in house 
products ( HRC,CRC,AZ, coils, Profiled sheets) into prime products or defective 
products- Improve precision of test results through calibration programmes, upgrading 
equipment by regular interaction with equipment suppliers. Guide Optimization of process
 control parameters by experimenting and review of the quality plans.
d. Provide technical expertise in designing of quality plans and standard operating 
e. Provide technical expertise on upgrading of process capability parameters to improve 
quality and yield
f. Ensure required statutory ®ulatory requirements are met as per the current laws and 
government orders
g. ) Provide technical expertise in procurement of new quality control and laboratory 
h. Manage customer satisfaction - Manage customer complaint redressal process, 
providing technical support in developing of new products and product warranties
i. Be responsible for implementation of ISO 9001:2008 quality Management system
j. Ensure the achievement of all KPIs for Quality department(Yield, prime volumes, no. 
of customer complaints
k. Identify training needs of the subordinates and organise for training in conjunction 
with HRD for Navision, Quality and ISO Management systems at the firm.

2. Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Metallurgical/Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent 
degree from a recognized institution. Alternately a Master’s degree in Chemistry with 
industry experience in process plants

Other Qualifications as an added advantage:
• Lead auditor training in ISO 9001,
• Postgraduate education in Quality/operations management
• Knowledge of ERP usage

Work Experience:
• The ideal person must have at least 8 years of professional experience with at least 5 
years in a quality management function in a manufacturing firm

transition planning, performance monitoring and operating procedures planning.
• Working knowledge and ability to communicate effectively with technical or IT
 process and business owners a plus
• Strong proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, Visio and PowerPoint essential

b. Experience and knowledge of pertinent legislations, regulations, standards and policies
 pertaining to the best practices in quality management and knowledge and experience in
 Metal coating process, Cold rolling process, ERP Usage, and ISO 9001 Quality 
Management System
