The Contractors Registration Board is a Government Regulatory Board under the Ministry of Works, Transport and Communication established by Act of Parliament No 17 of 1997 with the objective to register and regulate all types of Contractors and to promote the development of their capacities for the purpose of protecting consumers of construction services in Tanzania.
In order to carry out its functions effectively and thereby meet its objective, the Board needs dynamic, creative and performance driven Tanzanian citizens to fill the following positions.

Senior Human Resources Officer - Re Advertised

Holder of a recognized University Degree In Human Resources Management, Public Administration, Business Administration equivalent qualification with five years post qualifying experience .

Duties:
1. To deal with recruitment, promotions and remuneration scheme as well as pension and terminal benefits
2. To participate in drawing up policies pertaining to recruitment, training, safety and remuneration
3. To maintain industrial harmony in the Board
4. To assess personnel resources employed by the Board in relation to present and future needs
5. To supervise Secretaries staff and ensure provision of efficient office services
6. To administer staff leave, staff welfare, staff compensation claims and disciplinary affairs and Board functions pertaining to manpower development and administration.
7. To handle disciplinary cases, labour negotiations, reconciliation and arbitration
8. To maintain an up to date record of qualifications, skills and competencies of all employees in the Board.
9. To supervise and update registers for staff positions, dispositions, engagements, confirmations and promotions.
10. To co-ordinate staff performance appraisal for the Board.
11. To participate in the preparation of the Annual Reports for the Board.
12. To facilitate staff training
13. To do any other duties as may be assigned

Must possess strong computer skills with abilities to search for and retrieve Information from various sources (paper-based, the internet and online databases). She/he must be knowledgeable in use of data analysis software packages. The right candidate
Must have a proven knowledge of the Construction Industry

Duties:
1. To conduct research studies including but not limited to identifying research study areas, preparation of research proposals,research objectives, methods, variables, and other test parameters.
2. Data collection, analysis, interpretation and reports writing
3. Assist in Planning, monitoring and evaluation of Board activities
4. Projects Registration
5. Assisting in Preparation of Periodical as well as Annual Reports
6. To do any other duties as may be assigned.

In order to carry out its functions effectively and thereby meet its objective, the Board needs dynamic, creative and performance driven Tanzanian citizens to fill the following positions.


Systems Analyst

Qualifications:-
Holder of at least a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field from a recognized institution. Should be an Expert in object oriented principles and design patterns with a passion for writing polished, well-architected code.
She/ He should also be Well versed in web, backend and database software development principles and must possess Experience in agile software development teams.
Must have at least 3 years of professional experience in Microsoft tools and technologies.

Specific knowledge and experience:

Hands on .NET web and application development using C#
Hands on developing reports using SSRS
Design I development of high volume web application in ASP.NET, both Web Forms and MVC
Architectural patterns like MVC, SOA, DI, etc.
Implementing and deploying web applications in llS
Database programming and relational schema design for SQL Server
Hands on experience writing unit tests
SQL Server 201 O Database administration and management
Working with heterogeneous systems

Duties:
1. Analysing existing programs, correcting errors, testing the changes to ensure desired results are produced
2. Designing, developing and maintaining the Board's software packages and application systems.
3. Administering computer systems by ensuring that all the time the systems are properly functioning and help users to
understand their operations.
4. Developing, adapting and supporting user-friendly interfaces to computer systems.
5. Appraising business systems performance and giving recommendations.
6. Creating backups for business systems, testing and updating contingency measures in accordance with the Board's policy
7. Performing other related duties as assigned by superiors from time to time.

AGE LIMIT:
The age limit for the positions is 40 years.

3. To advise improvements in Board systems and operations based on findings deduced from analysis of data from internal and external sources
4. To advise on formulation of new and improvements to capacity building initiatives based on research findings and benchmarking with similar institutions worldwide.
5. Preparation of Periodical as well as Annual Reports
6. To assist in drawing up short and long term plans of the Department and the Board
7. To do any other duties as may be assigned.
